Frequently Asked Questions
Our Rates
Labor rate is $120 per hour (plus materials and sales tax) with a 2-hour minimum, unless otherwise approved.
Many project estimates can be done virtually, however if a site visit is required to determine scope and cost of a project, the show up fee is $225 and is due before the scheduled visit. If you decide to proceed with the work, $120 of the fee will be applied to the project to cover the first hour of work.
A credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard) is required to schedule a site visit or to start a project. When the work is complete, the card on file will be billed for the full invoiced amount. If you would like to pay for your project using another method (PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, or CashApp), please notify us prior to beginning the project.
Are you Available for Emergencies?
Yes, I can respond to emergency needs for existing customers. The rate for after hours or weekend work is $220 per hour (plus materials and sales tax).

Customers will receive an estimate prior to the project work beginning, and a detailed invoice via email once work is completed with a link to pay online or via your preferred payment method. Full payment is due when work is completed.
Deposit for Large Projects
If your project is estimated to cost more than $1000 (labor, materials and tax), a 50% deposit will be required at the time estimate is approved. The remainder will be due upon completion of the project. If the project is canceled prior to work beginning, deposit (minus time spent and materials purchased) will be refunded.
Materials
For some projects, I prefer to provide the materials as I have identified the best products to use for home repairs. If I provide the materials, there will be a 20% mark up to cover the purchasing process and any drive time. For larger projects, the customer may wish to purchase and provide their own materials after we discuss what is required for the work. Please note that if you purchase the wrong materials and I am on-site, the hourly rate will apply while the correct materials are purchased.
What if I want to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Cancellation and/or rescheduling of an appointment must be done 24 hours in advance in order to avoid a cancellation fee.
If cancellation is done with less than 24 hours notice, one hour ($120) will be charged to the credit card on file.

If the event that the customer is not at the designated address at the appointment time, we will wait fifteen (15) minutes on site before assuming the appointment has been canceled.
